XEN Universal+ triple-enzyme formula is suitable for robotic instruments and compatible with aluminum — and a wide range of automated washer-disinfectors and cart washers.

Universal+ is designed to break down a wide variety of organic soils, and its ultraconcentrated solution can achieve up to 10 times the number of wash cycles compared to equivalent products. With no need for neutralizers, sterile processing technicians experience streamlined workflows with this mildly alkaline formula. Low foaming

Testing shows reduced foaming prevents a loss of pressure that can hamper cleaning efficacy and prevents damage to automated washers and lumened or hollow instruments.

Mildly alkaline

Increased alkalinity dissolves protein and fat residues without requiring a neutralizing rinse to protect softer metals.

Triple-enzyme formulation

Protease enzymes break down proteins in blood and tissues found in all surgical soils; lipase enzymes attack fats and oils found in orthopedic and GI surgeries; and amylase enzymes break down carbohydrates found in GI surgeries and food residues.
