Meet Cord Meyer, Depot Repair Manager, based in Mahwah, New Jersey. 

Cord has been with Getinge for nearly 20 years, and has much pride in his team and the products he works with every day. While his commitment is evident in all aspects of his work,  it was during a critical moment in his personal life that Cord truly experienced the profound impact of Getinge’s products and solutions.

In February 2014, while Cord was attending Getinge’s annual National Sales Meeting, he received a call that his wife needed to undergo emergency gallbladder surgery. While in the operating room, she remembers seeing the machine that would be responsible for keeping her alive through surgery: Getinge’s Flow-i Anesthesia Machine. Knowing the skilled team behind the equipment provided a sense of relief to Cord and his wife. They both felt safe and had peace of mind knowing the products that would support her during surgery would operate safely, reliably and at the highest standard.  

In his role, Cord uses his family’s firsthand experience with Getinge products to empathize with customers' needs, ensuring that his team delivers solutions that truly address their concerns and improve their outcomes. Cord teaches his team to treat every piece of equipment as if it were for their own family. He's proud to contribute to lifesaving work every day.
