Ventilation Summit: Management of the Neonate 2024

Join us in-person or virtually for an enriching educational experience exclusively designed for nurses,  fellows, neonatologists and intensivists who take care of the tiniest patients.

Learning objectives:

  • to learn how to set up and initiate ventilation in neonates with extremely low gestation age
  • to gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles behind Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist (NAVA) and Non-Invasive NAVA, including how it utilizes diaphragmatic electrical activity (Edi) to synchronize mechanical ventilation with the patient's respiratory efforts.
  • to learn about the principles of ventilation the neonates with different clinical conditions
  • to understand the principles of High Frequency Oscillation Ventilation (HFOV) and how to better utilize it in neonatal patients

In-person participation in Singapore 

Besides online attendance, we also have a limited amount of seats available for people who would like to attend the event IN PERSONPlease note that the onsite event starts on October 22, 2024 at 14:00 SGT at the Getinge Experience Center in Singapore. 

Minimum registration requirements:

  • More than 1 year of experience in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
  • To ensure meaningful interaction with the presented content, participants are required to possess a minimum of one year experience in working with Edi monitoring and NAVA and a solid understanding of its principles.
  • Registration is open to individuals residing within APAC region.

Other than the minimum registration requirements, selection will also be based on items such as the number of seats available for the program, regional diversity and number of attendees per institution. You will receive a confirmation email after registration if the requirements are met.
