Getinge displays new life science solutions at ACHEMA 2024

At this year’s ACHEMA – the world’s leading forum for chemical engineering, process engineering and biotechnology – Getinge will demonstrate its passion for life by showcasing many recently launched and upcoming solutions for the life science industry.

“Our focus on life science innovations will become more obvious than ever. Our dedication to helping the development of life-saving therapies gain momentum has resulted in many new solutions in our portfolio,” says Eric Honroth, President Life Science at Getinge.

Getinge’s solutions that will be displayed at ACHEMA in Frankfurt, Germany, on June 10-14 include a new, more sustainable version of the DPTE-BetaBag® featuring plastic from renewable sources. The bag will be accompanied by several other additions to the DPTE® system for sterile transfer that will become available throughout 2024.

Reprocessing news include the compact GEW 888 neo washer/dryer, which provides maximum cleaning capacity on a minimum footprint that now features a new loading rack identification & autostart system. The new Lancer LSS laboratory sterilizer and a new terminal sterilizer are also on display.

The bioreactor area will be represented by the new Single-Use Production Reactor (SUPR) system, which initially is available in 50-liter and 250-liter sizes.

“The wide ACHEMA lineup combines our expertise and solutions for a safe and efficient workflow within laboratory and biomedical research facilities with our continuous focus on supporting contamination prevention and upstream bioprocessing within biopharmaceutical production,” Eric explains.
