Getinge present in the Swedish Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai

Infection prevention is one of the bullets on the agenda as Getinge is participating in the world Expo 2020 to meet customers, key stakeholders and policymakers in the Swedish Pavilion. During the event, Getinge is showcasing its wide portfolio of products contributing to a sustainable and efficient health care.

During the ongoing Health & Wellness theme week at the Swedish Pavilion at Expo 2020, Swedish health care is on the agenda with a specific focus on infection prevention, antibiotic resistance, digitalization and cancer control.

Getinge is participating as an official sponsor to the Swedish Pavilion and takes part in the virtual programme Redefining health and care – Unique Opportunities Beyond the Pandemic hosted by Swecare, Vision Zero Cancer and the Swedish Ministry of Health and Social Affairs on February 1st. This event will bring together thought leaders, influential policymakers and key stakeholders in the health care sector to discuss thought-provoking ideas to the global health care challenges such as infection prevention and antibiotic resistance.

“Each year, millions of people are affected by health care acquired infections which is one of the biggest killer in the world for people under 30. We want to address this challenge by providing hospitals with high quality products and solutions that improve the area of infection control and reprocessing of medical instruments”, says Katarzyna Sypula, Head of Marcom CEE/MEA.
