Change of number of shares and votes in Getinge

With reference to Chapter 4, Section 9 of the Swedish Financial Instruments Trading Act (SFS 1991:980), it is hereby announced that the number of shares and votes in Getinge has increased during January 2009 by virtue of the new share issue recently carried out by the company and as further set out in the table below.

Before new share issue: Class A shares 14,346,045, Class B shares 200,144,995, total number of shares 214,491,040 and total number of votes 343,605,445.

Increase: Class A shares 1,594,005, Class B shares 22,238,332, total number of shares 23,832,337 and total number of votes 38,178,382.

After new share issue: Class A shares 15,940,050, Class B shares 222,383,327, total number of shares 238,323,377 and total number of votes 381,783,827.
