Business Ethics
Getinge has signed the UN Global Compact and we support its ten principles on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. The sustainability work is governed by our Code of Conduct and a number of policies in a number of areas, such as human rights, anti-corruption and the environment.

Committed to net zero emissions by 2050
Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated
The defined long-term target is to become a net zero company by 2050. This means we will reduce emissions from the whole value chain by at least 90% vs baseline 2021 and balance the remaining 10% by removals. Follow our progress in our Climate Disclosure Report 2023.
UN Global Compact
Supporting the UN Global Compact is an important part of our sustainability efforts, and we strive to integrate its principles covering human rights, labor and the environment in our daily work.
UN Sustainability Goals
The UN Global Compact has established 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Getinge supports all of them and have identified those that are most relevant for our own operations.
EcoVadis
In 2019, we began to evaluate our sustainability performance through EcoVadis, which is the leading system for evaluating suppliers’ environmental aspects, working conditions, corporate social responsibility and subcontractors.

Getinge is a supporting member of the Swedish Anti-corruption Institute (Sw: Institutet Mot Mutor “IMM”) a non-profit organization founded in 1923.
