Meeting space and budget requirements for laboratories where sterile labware is essential.
The Getinge Lancer LSS autoclaves are preprogrammed with standard gravity, vacuum, and liquid cycles. This ensures reliable sterilization of the most common loads in laboratory applications. All cycle phases are automatically sequenced, monitored and documented by the control system to ensure that the cycle has performed according to pre-set parameters. Choose from four models to meet your space and capacity requirements.
Reliable sterilization performance
The Lancer LSS Laboratory Steam Sterilizer includes pre-programmed cycles to ensure the reliable sterilization of the most common goods in your laboratory. Choose your autoclave cycle based on the type of load to be processed and how air removal is most efficiently managed for proper sterilization. Optional cycles are available for low temperature cycles and liquids in sealed containers.
Gravity cycles
Gravity cycles are typically used for sterilization of hard goods such as glassware. They use steam to remove the air from the chamber.
Vacuum cycles
Vacuum cycles are suitable for sterilization of porous goods such as filters. A vacuum sequence quickly removes the air from the chamber, including ambient air trapped within the load.
Liquid cycles
These cycles are selected for sterilization of liquids in open containers. The cycles slow the rate of exhaust to prevent boil-over.

Door gasket for safe and reliable steam sterilization
The door gasket closes around the door face to automatically seal the autoclave chamber when steam pressure is applied. This minimizes the risk of air leaking into the chamber, which could jeopardize the sterilization result. In the unlikely event of a door failure, the gasket is designed to relieve pressure. Baffles at the autoclave chamber opening safely direct steam away from the operator.
Minimal footprint with vertical sliding door
In manual door configurations, the door is counterbalanced and requires minimal operator force to open and close. The door operates in a downward motion and vanishes within the front cabinet; no headspace or additional floor space are required, which minimizes the sterilizer’s footprint.
Water saver system
When installing the new improved water saver system, sustainability objectives can be achieved. The system incorporates a recirculation system, a circulation pump, temperature control and possibility to connect to a building circulating chilled water system. The water consumption can be reduced by up to 95%, depending on load and cycle selection, without affecting the sterilization performance.
Accurate process control
The control system monitors process-critical parameters to ensure a reliable steam sterilization process. If any parameter goes outside the pre-set value, an alarm will sound and the process will stop. Batch reports are printed in real-time by an integrated printer; they can also be digitally stored through the USB port on the machine.
Optimized parameters maximize the autoclave performance and ensure optimal cycle time. Cycle parameters are adjustable to meet your specific steam sterilization requirements. All user-accessible control functions can be changed by authorized users via a password-protected touchscreen data entry interface.
Door interlocks ensure safety
A safety interlock prevents steam from entering the chamber if the door is not sealed. Once closed and under pressure the door cannot be opened until the process is complete. This ensures safe operations and successful process completion.
